British library document delivery system
The library of King’s Inns has access to the Copyright Fee Paid
Service of the British Library Document Supply Centre (DSC).
The purpose of this service is
to enable students and members to obtain inter-library loans and copies
of articles/sections of books, which are not held by the library.
The collections of the DSC include:
- Books
- Serials (journals, periodicals, etc.)
- Other material (grey literature, theses, translations etc)
Cost:
Price per inter-library loan (book) €16.00
Price per article/section of book €13.50
Procedure:
Please speak to one of the librarians. Please fill out a request slip.
Please note:
Articles may be retained but book loans must be returned to the library
within the specified loan period. Borrowers are responsible for the
safe keeping of books until they have been returned and the loan
records cancelled. The use of books obtained through the inter-library
loans system is subject to the conditions imposed by the lending
library. The loan period for books is 2 weeks.
