The provision of legal services, either by lawyers or others, is a significant aspect of the law’s functioning. This advanced diploma in Legal Innovation and Technology will offer participants the opportunity to consider recent innovations in the delivery of legal services that have sought to redesign existing systems by which, and within which, legal services are provided.
The course will include a consideration of topics such as access to justice, online courts, the future of legal services, legal practice innovations and technologies, as well as methods that can be deployed to apply innovation to existing legal service systems.
The course will offer participants the opportunity to explore various innovative approaches to the delivery of legal services. The course will also allow participants to apply design thinking and process improvement strategies to existing systems of legal practice and legal systems to explore potential ideas for future innovation.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This course will benefit both lawyers and non–lawyers engaged in the provision of legal services, broadly defined, including those in private practice and employed privately or in public bodies and regulatory agencies.
