Four Jurisdictions Law Conference 2022

The Four Jurisdictions Law Conference will take place in Middle Temple, London, from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 May.

For those of you who are not familiar with this annual event, it is for members of the Inns in England & Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland to get together with members of the Bars and their Judiciary. Barrister–at–Law students from all jurisdictions are welcome to attend also.

The venue rotates – 2018 was held in Belfast, 2019 Edinburgh and 2020 was supposed to be in London (at Middle Temple) but was delayed until 2022 due to the pandemic. 2023 will take place in Dublin.

Event Details

  • The event is open to all members of the Inn – Students, Bar and Bench alike.
  • The conference takes place over Saturday and part of Sunday and is an event where attendees can learn from the perspectives of others.
  • It is a fun event and partners are most welcome. You will find there is plenty of down time to socialise, explore London or spend time with colleagues.

Plenary sessions cover a wide range of topics from the Rule of Law and the Ukraine Crisis and Duties of Candour to Humour and the Law and Diversity. The 2022 Four Jurisdictions Law Conference is certain to be insightful and thought–provoking for all.

The deadline for registration and payment is Friday, April 22, 2022.

Multiple ticket options are available, including a reduced–price ticket for students and the junior Bar (under 7 years Call). If you would like to attend one or more parts of the conference, but not the full conference in its entirety, you are able to purchase tickets to certain events.
