Meet this year’s Committee of the Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland
After a great election campaign between the Diploma and Degree students of King’s Inns for the 2022–2023 Auditor of the Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland (LSDSI), they elected Barrister–at–Law Modular 2 student Paula Cassidy on Monday, November 7.
LSRA report shows 778 complaints received and 754 complaints closed in a six–month period
On Friday, 18 November 2022, the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) published its second complaints report for 2022, which shows it received 778 complaints about legal practitioners in a six–month period, with 754 complaints closed.
Nominations are invited for the Bar Benchers’ Panel (5 Vacancies) and the Practising Barristers’ Panel (5 Vacancies) of the Council of the King’s Inns. Persons elected will serve for two years from 1 January 2023.
