Mr Justice Peter Kelly retires as the President of the High Court after nearly 50 years of service with the Courts

King’s Inns would like to wish Mr Justice Peter Kelly a happy retirement as he leaves his post as the President of the High Court this evening, Wednesday 17 June 2020.

Mr Justice Kelly is a distinguished alumnus of King’s Inns with a long career and is admired by many. He was elected a bencher of King’s Inns in E1996 and is a Trustee and ex officio member of the Council since his appointment as High Court President. Mr Justice Kelly has been a visiting lecturer and speaker to King’s Inns sharing his knowledge and experience with many students, members and the wider public.
