UCC School of Law to host their Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights annual lecture online

Judge Síofra O’Leary of the European Court of Human Rights will deliver the Centre for Criminal Justice & Human Rights annual lecture. This lecture will take place online for the first time on Monday 9 November, 16:00–17:00 GMT. It is free to attend.

Judge O’Leary will speak on the topic “Ireland, the ECHR, and EU Law: Parallel Lines and Convergence – The Right of Access to a Lawyer”.

The lecture will be followed by a Q&A.
