Auditor of the LSDSI Aisling Bruen, will deliver her Inaugural Address

Aisling Bruen, Diploma in Legal Studies student (Diploma–I) and Auditor (192nd Session) of the Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland (LSDSI), will deliver her Inaugural Address on Wednesday, May 25, at 4.45 pm. 

The Address will take place in the Lower Lecture Room, Dining Hall Building at King’s Inns. 

The theme of the Address is: 

“Children in State Care and The Criminal Justice System”

His Honour Judge John O’Connor, Judge of the Circuit Court, will Chair the Address and The Hon. Ms Bronagh O’Hanlon, former Judge of the High Court and Dr Niall Muldoon, Ombudsman for Children will act as Responders.

Proceedings will commence at 4.45 pm SHARP and conclude before 6.30 pm. 

All welcome to attend

All King’s Inns students, members and alumni are welcome to attend. Barrister members and barrister–at–law students who are bringing guests to Dining on this day are welcome to bring their guests also. 

No registration required. The Address will take place in the Lower Lecture Room, Dining Hall Building at King’s Inns.

The Law Students’ Debating Society of Ireland (LSDSI) is a student–run body originally formed as a debating society in 1830. Over the years, it has evolved and now represents all facets of student life at King’s Inns.
