Members’ Event – A Private Tour of 14 Henrietta St

King’s Inns has teamed up with our neighbours at 14 Henrietta Street to offer a private tour of the house on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11.30 am.

Experience over 300 years of city life in the walls of one address – this intimate guided tour brings you on a journey from the houses grand Georgian beginnings to the tenement dwellings of its later years.

See the house, hear its stories and discover the layers of Dublin history within its walls. 14 Henrietta Street guides bring to life the stories of the humans who lived in the house, their changing circumstances, their experience of family life, of politics, and the impact of world affairs.

About 14 Henrietta Street

14 Henrietta Street is a social history museum of Dublin life, from one building’s Georgian beginnings to its tenement times.

The purchase and conservation of 14 Henrietta Street was a direct result of the Dublin City Heritage Plan 2002 – 2006 and the Henrietta Street conservation plan. The restoration and conservation of this building was funded by Dublin City Council, with additional support from a Centenaries Capital Grant from the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.

14 Henrietta Street is owned and conserved by Dublin City Council, and run by Dublin City Council Culture Company.
