Mediation Conference: Forging a career as a Mediator – What next?

On Friday, May 12, from 2 pm to 5 pm, The Bar of Ireland in partnership with King’s Inns, is hosting an in–person conference on “Forging a career as a Mediator: what next?”. This event is open to anyone interested in mediation – non–legal professionals and lawyers.

Mediation is a growing alternative to litigation. It is given special recognition in our civil justice system by the Mediation Act of 2017. If you are a practitioner considering entering this area, this 3–hour conference is for you.

You will hear from leading practitioners on the following:

  • How you can develop your mediation practice, win business and clients – bridging the gap between qualifying as a mediator and becoming a successful mediator

  • If you need to specialise and what training is required
