King’s Inns welcomes new Under Treasurer

King’s Inns are delighted to welcome our new Under Treasurer / CEO, Mary Griffin to the King’s Inns. Mary took up the position in June 2018 and succeeds Sean Aylward who retired from his post in July this year. Prior to joining King’s Inns, Mary was interim CEO with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.

Mary is very well qualified to take the organisation to the next level, with a deep understanding of the work of King’s Inns. She has proven to be a strong leader and fully appreciates the need to build close relationships with the organisation’s key stakeholders. A qualified executive coach, Mary is passionate about developing people, identifying talent and enabling people to be the best they can be.

“It is an honour to be asked to lead King’s Inns during what is a very exciting time for the Irish legal profession. There are many challenges ahead and I look forward to pursuing new opportunities, working in partnership with our stakeholders to respond to the ever changing environment. I want to pay tribute to my predecessor, Sean Aylward, and I hope to build upon his outstanding work over the coming years.”
