The surroundings of King’s Inns has been the setting for some special celebrations over the years for both private and corporate clients including; conferences and award ceremonies, product launches and exhibitions, corporate gatherings, family dinners, weddings, and cinema and television productions. It has over 200 years of experience in hosting and welcoming guests.

While traditionally King’s Inns as a venue, has been associated with the family celebrations of it’s members and law related conferences and announcements, today we welcome everyone and delight in sharing our rich history of education and traditions.

Claire Hanley, our food and events partner coordinates and organises all special occasions at King’s Inns. Claire and her team are highly regarded specialists in the area of hosting and coordinating vital elements to ensure the perfect occasion. Claire’s long–standing reputation was built mainly for her food, the additional service detail and style has developed over years of experience, working along side an impressive client list both private and corporate. Claire brings this exceptional experience to all life events at King’s Inns.

No matter how big or small the occasion may be, our purpose is to provide you and your guests with a truly memorable experience. Claire and her team expertise’s brings together our unique Venue with their exceptional flavours, menu, beverage selection, hospitality and service skills, and deliver your event with a warm professional, yet personal service, that captures the essence of what is great entertaining.

Claire’s philosophy, shared by her team, is based on three guiding principles: the use of high–quality local ingredients and services, personal attention to detail, and above all, the ability to listen to their clients. There is an exuberance that runs through each of their events; it comes from the fact that they love what they do. Room Availability and Capacity Information

The main Dining Hall in King’s Inns has a capacity to seat two hundred plus guests for formal dinner and up to four hundred for a reception. A number of other rooms are available for hire such as the upstairs Benchers’ Room, which overlooks onto the surrounding public gardens, seats up to fifty guests for a breakfast meeting, luncheon or formal dinner, and eighty to one hundred for reception. Located on the ground floor is the Bar Room with the backdrop of the Lavery painting, High Treason, the trial of Rodger Casement, offering an intimate private setting for lunch or dinner up to twenty guests or forty for an informal drinks reception. The Bar Room is also suitable for private meetings or presentations. Our Entrance Hall which houses a cloakroom, and surrounding hallway is a perfect area to meet and greet your guests with a warm canapé and drinks reception before making their way into the room of your choice. We have an array of other rooms and buildings available for hire such as Lecture Theatres for conferences and training sessions, and a Library which houses over 110,000 volumes is suitable for product launches and award ceremonies.

The King’s Inns is an easy accessible Dublin City Centre location with a number of public transport links within walking distance from both the Henrietta Street and Constitution Hill entrances. We have secure off–street parking for 200 plus cars which is also suitable for coaches. Parking is complimentary with our event packages. For more information on parking, please visit here.

Entering King’s Inns, by your vehicle of choice, through the gates at the top of Henrietta Street into the courtyard and public gardens can be an experience in itself. Let alone, entering the large black double doors into the open space Entrance Hall that leads to the Dining Hall, all which can be adapted to your style. 

Claire Hanley, our food and events partner, can assist you not only with the organisation of your special day from menu choice, service style and décor but matching the menu with the right atmosphere and entertainment. A number of props, crockery and event equipment are available to use and hire. Claire and her team have experience in hosting all different types of occasions from events in other public buildings, private houses and marquees in Dublin and around the country.

Looking for a venue that is easy accessible and offers complimentary parking for your guests in a Dublin City Centre location? King’s Inns provide a unique backdrop to impress customers and clients in a spacious and flexible setting. We have a variety of big and small spaces suitable for conferences, award ceremonies, business meetings, product launches, training sessions, and exhibitions. Facilities include; Dining Hall, which seats up to 250 theatre–style and smaller rooms, capable of hosting from 6 up to 60 delegates.
