EU Jobs Conference at King’s Inns: Employment Opportunities for EU Lawyer–Linguists, Interpreters and Translators

King’s Inns will host an evening conference exploring the wide range of employment opportunities available within the European Union for lawyer–linguists, interpreters and translators.

There are significant career prospects for lawyer–linguists within EU institutions. The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) is currently expanding its Irish-language unit and is actively recruiting Irish-language lawyer–linguists. In addition, Ireland has become the primary source of English-language lawyer–linguists for EU institutions, creating further opportunities in this area.

The conference will also examine opportunities to work as interpreters and translators at both EU and national levels, highlighting the diverse career paths available to language and law graduates.
