Is í Éire anois an tír is mó as a bhfostaítear dlítheangeolaithe le Béarla agus tá neart deiseanna ansin chomh maith.

Tá deiseanna fostaíochta freisin ag an leibhéal Eorpach agus náisiúnta mar ateangairí agus mar aistritheoirí.

 Many opportunities present in the field of lawyer-linguistics with the European Union. The CJEU is in the process of expanding its Irish language unit and recruits many Irish language lawyer-linguists. Ireland is now the main source for English language lawyer-linguists with further opportunities presenting there.

There are also employment opportunities at EU and national level as translators and interpreters.
