Members & their guests are invited to join us for a celebratory dinner in recognition of Daniel O’Connell.
Daniel O’Connell (1775–1847), known as "The Liberator," was a prominent Irish political leader who championed the rights of Catholics and sought greater Irish autonomy within the United Kingdom.
Daniel O’Connell entered King's Inns in 1795 to train as a Barrister. He was called to the Bar in 1798.
The event marks the 250th anniversary of his birth.
Dr. Patrick Geoghegan will be among the speakers on the evening, with additional speakers to be confirmed in due course.
