In 2014, King’s Inns commissioned John Short to realise visual impressions of external and internal views of King’s Inns and court settings where some of our graduates work as practising barristers, court officials and judges.

What drew us to John is the sense of place and the human movement in his work. His is a cinematic vision but intimate, personal and ‘in the moment’. A series of 6 prints were released in 2015.

Each print is a limited edition of 500, measuring 105.41 cm x 53.34cm and is hand embossed with the historical ‘1541’ seal of King’s Inns. All prints are personally signed by John Short and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
